Jdimytai Damour, a 34-year-old worker at the retail giant’s outlet in Long Island died after being trampled by rampaging shoppers during a 24-hour-period of door buster sales featuring early bird special offers.
To avoid similar accidents this year, Wal-Mart is planning ahead, by using “store-specific plans” from various safety consultants and experts. “Customer and associate safety is always a top priority for us.
